Back to Class 8, when I used to take private lessons from Monzil Sir. One December, I somehow “forgot” to pay my last month’s tuition fee—and instead, proudly spent the money on a brand-new Bluetooth speaker that looked suspiciously like a pistol! 😄 Years later, when I was in Class 9, Monzil Sir came to take a proxy class. Suddenly, he pulled out an old, torn piece of paper—the list of legendary students who still owed him money—and started reading the names aloud. And then… I heard my name! 😳 I wanted the ground to swallow me right there! 😂

Ensuring a Safe, Disciplined, and Accountable School Environment and Introduction of a Digital Student Attendance and Monitoring System. In coordination with the School Management Committee, necessary measures should be taken to ensure a safe, disciplined, and conducive learning environment for all students. Appropriate action should be taken against outsiders, troublemakers, and non-regular students who loiter or gather around the school premises, nearby shops, or surrounding areas during school hours, as their presence may disrupt the learning environment and create safety concerns. Special attention should also be given to ensuring the safe and secure movement of female students to and from school. Effective measures should be taken to protect students from harassment, intimidation, or any other form of inconvenience while entering, leaving, or commuting around the school premises. To strengthen student attendance, safety, and parental involvement, a digital, period-wise attendance system should be introduced for each class and shift. Under this system, parents would receive SMS notifications confirming their child’s attendance. At the end of each school day, a digital attendance report could also be sent to parents, allowing them to monitor their child’s regular attendance and identify any unexplained absence promptly. Considering the importance of student safety, discipline, regular attendance, and effective communication between the school and parents, I believe these measures should be introduced as soon as possible in consultation and coordination with the School Management Committee.
